Some suggestions...

    In-house training

We can train on your company premises, at the College or at our specialist training facilities within companies. Our satisfied in-house training customers include Toyota, Unilever and Johnson Controls.

    Short courses

Upskill your employees for a more competitive business. Our variety of short courses can help multi-skill your employees, help your company abide by legal requirements, and improve business operations.

We regularly hold short courses at the College on First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Safety, and IOSH. We aim to be flexible; we can also run courses on a demand basis, deliver courses in your workplace and provide courses for specific business requirements.

    NVQ courses

Give your business a boost with convenient on-site staff training.

NVQs (National Vocational Qualifications) build on your team’s knowledge, skills and experience with nationally recognised qualifications. We can train your staff in the workplace with a minimum of fuss and little impact on your productivity. And you may even be eligible for funding.

Just choose the level and the subject: we offer NVQs in management, education, admin and IT, early years and care, hair and beauty, hospitality and catering, sports and leisure, construction, manufacturing and motor vehicle.

    Lee Murphy, Facilities Manager, Palletforce

“We see apprenticeships as being highly valuable to the business. They give young people a chance on the job, teaching them about the business and helping them on the transition from school to the working environment."

James Weeks, Owner of The Dial Restaurant

"Taking on apprentices allows The Dial to train our chefs from scratch. It’s extremely rewarding to watch someone who has never cooked professionally before work their way up to creating complicated dishes and fantastic food.”

James Weeks, Owner of The Dial Restaurant
Andy McKeown, Director of Normans Musical Instruments

“Taking on apprentices has been great for the business and I’m delighted to say that every single one has been a real asset to the company."

Andy McKeown, Director of Normans Musical Instruments
Adam Pegg, Owner of Sellek Hairdressing

"Apprenticeships are what I know; they’re a good way to offer training and jobs. Apprentices get experience in a job and you gain staff that you have trained up and you can rely on.”
